At Rokesly Infant and Nursery school we value partnerships with parents, carers and other adults from our local community. Adults who work with us in school give up their time to support our children in lots of ways.
We have also have a volunteer scheme for parents and carers who are able to dedicate regular time to support children in school. Additional adults can bring new skills to our team and make a huge difference to the lives and learning of Rokesly children. Volunteering is fun and rewarding.
All adults that volunteer in school attend an induction session with Senior Leaders to ensure they are aware of Health and Safety, Fire Evacuation and Safeguarding expectations. Regular volunteers must have a DBS check and must read the document Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 1
Look out for upcoming meetings at Rokesly in our school newsletters.
